We engaged Hugo to redesign our bedroom / dressing area and to improve our landing area which was a bit dull. We had not used a designer before and always been quite “matchy” in our design choices, white ceilings etc so it took a bit of a leap of faith to go with more bold styles which Hugo presented. We are so glad we did! We are absolutely delighted with the results, our bedroom is the most welcoming room in the house and the landing is a lot more homely and interesting.
Hugo was easy to work with and had great ideas and a vast range of designs and products to choose from. It was great not having to find and shop for everything and then the project which involved multiple trades was managed by Hugo and his team end-to-end and so we didn’t have that stress of organising and dealing with trades. Hugo was regularly on-site to monitor work and progress. The work was completed on time and on budget and all the trades were real craftsmen. The project involved plastering, panelling, electrical work, decorating and then at the end Hugo expertly accessorised and dressed the room. We cannot recommend Hugo highly enough and look forward to getting his help with our next project!

A few months ago Hugo of Cranberry Homes designed our new kitchen which involved taking out a main wall. It completely transformed the room and is a delight to work and entertain guests in. Hugo supervised the whole project from the builders to decorators. All we had to do was enjoy the end result. As a consequence we decided to use their services again to update our bathroom ensuite. We were delighted with the design and decided to go ahead leaving the whole project in Hugo’s very capable hands.

Hugo and his team were fantastic - turned a awkward-shaped bedroom into a luxe haven. Both the restructuring of the room and the beautiful finish were not things we could have envisioned or delivered ourselves, so very happy that we used Cranberryhome. They were also very helpful from start to finish and always willing to go the extra mile: sorting out our age-old creaky floorboard as well as the main design and build and fit-out, and thinking through all of the teeny details which we would have missed without them (e.g. appropriate handles for the wardrobe drawers). Will definitely be using again!
I had a fantastic experience with Hugo and his team at Cranberryhome when they completely revamped my living room. I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted but Hugo was brilliant at helping to guide me through the design process and produced a lounge that I could be proud of.

Hugo and his team helps us design and transform a new build house. The process took about 10 months from start to finish, as we had a delayed completion. There were some further delays in completion, on the developer side, so we needed to mix the calendar up a bit - we managed to work with it but it could’ve easily caused some big issues so if you are buying a new build, do account for completion delays. The process itself was quite fun and we’ve ended up with a beautiful home. The only constructive feedback I’d offer is that we were very close to order deadlines before we got to see a full cost breakdown, which did put us in a difficult position (pay more or delay). I see how it can easily happen but just something to consider, however it has ultimately finished with a dream home! Thank you
It’s been a considerably large project renovating a 200 years old manor house from scratch. Hugo is very experienced and responsive. I believe he is a Virgo like me cos he likes to get things spot on; meticulous ; no compromise and idealistic. These I consider are key and vital elements to consider when entrusting your project to your designer or contractor.
Excellent service and quality by Hugo! I was still in Hong Kong when finding Hugo to decorate my house, he makes me no worry and fell very comfortable for the whole process. He arranges everything very well, including design, furniture and even the food prepared in the house. Surprisingly, the house is even prettier than I expected when I arrived UK. Will definitely find Hugo again if there is further need for house decoration! Highly recommend for people overseas want to decorate their houses in UK.
Cranberry Home have helped us with the design of a master bedroom, guest room, attic children’s room, study and hallway. They also helped us with kitchen design. The study was a particularly challenging brief as we wanted to create a study/snug area with a large amount of book shelving and a fire. We are very pleased with all the rooms and Cranberry have managed to capture and enlarge our tastes and push our comfort zones. They have been painstaking with the final fit out of the rooms and communication has been excellent throughout the project. We would thoroughly recommend this company.
We first met Hugo 2.5 years before our renovation finally commenced.
During this time he has helped us with his knowledge and ideas to; space plan, leading us to swap the location of our new staircase so that the spaces flowed together better; plan lighting layouts; sanity checked other ideas; suggested design features to add more interest; and introduced us to his trusted suppliers, who have been better value than ones we had been able to identify ourselves.
Hugo has listened to what we wanted and at times challenged us to be more creative, however at no time has he been pushy. As a result we have achieved more than we had originally anticipated, and there are still ideas that we hope to implement as a second phase.

Hugo took the time to find out exactly what we wanted, he didn’t talk AT us, like some companies I had spoken to, and instead listened to what we wanted for the room and designed it around our needs.
We moved into a new build and wanted to give the rooms some personality. The finished rooms look divine, I couldn’t have achieved this look on my own. I’m so proud of my house now and can’t wait to show it off after lockdown!
We have just sold our flat in Bletchley, which was no mean feat as we live in Canada. Hugo (Cranberry Home) handled everything for us, from an initial inspection, disposal of furniture, redecoration, replacement of carpets and staging with new furniture etc. And we didn’t have to leave Canada. We had a great offer within 2 weeks of posting it with a local Estate Agent, recommended by Hugo who actually got us 3 estimates. This is my third time using Cranberryhome (and Hugo) for interior design & project management services. Having previous completed a home office project and a styling of our lounge with CranberryHome.
We engaged CranberryHome to help us give purpose to an otherwise un-used room (Dinning room). We had tried and failed over the course of 6 months to turn the room into a usable space. Through a series of consultations and meetings they came up with unique design that leveraged the best use of the space with be-spoke furniture while giving a wow factor to us & guests.
Unfortunately, the design and costings didn’t align with our budget, but CranberryHome worked tireless with us over a couple months to re-work and fine tune a design that would work with our budget.
Through the re-design journey we are able to really focus on where we wanted to spend our money and CranberryHome helped us identify the best areas that would both add value to our property but also give us enjoyment.
We started at a small dinning room make-over and ended up with a FANTASTIC renovation of our entire downstairs (interior doors, flooring, W/C makeover, Glass staircase design, drinks room/snug area, art work, Etc.)
What really sets CranberryHome (and Hugo) apart from the crowd is their customer service and their commitment to customer satisfaction.

What can I say about Hugo and Chantal… I am so dependent on their eye and expertise that I now cannot make any design decision on my own! They have recently designed my sons room and it is so beautiful and unique that it is our favourite room in the house! Our son doesn’t ever want to leave it! Hugo and Chantal are wonderful designers and because they carry out their own work they really do a fantastic job. You will not be disappointed in their work, we already have plans to ask them back again for other rooms!
Hugo’s tremendous depth of experience was obvious during the initial consultation and this encouraged me to progress with my kitchen project. Hugo and his team were incredibly accessible and communication with them was excellent all through the project. The costing of the project was really important to me and Hugo’s team worked painstakingly to put together a very competitive quote without compromising on quality. In the end, I was so glad I chose not to buy a new kitchen from any of the big name stores. For roughly the same amount, I got a bespoke, personalised and superbly designed kitchen.
Cranberry Home has an incredible eye for design and a greatly professional team. There work is outstanding and they really have a great vision for a room which I would never be able to visualise. They have done such a great job we instantly added more rooms for them to design. We now value their opinion so much I cannot choose anything without wanting to ask Hugh and Chantal’s opinion first! If you allow them some space and creativity you will get a room that is beyond your expectation. They are my first choice for all future projects!
We have hired Cranberryhome to design our living room. We were greatly Satisfied by their design & Plan suggested. They have perfectly blended the final design based on our choice and their innovative ideas. They provided us with the list of furniture that can best suit the living room and they have also selected a theme to go with it.

Hugo and Charlotte did a fantastic job on my bedroom and playroom. The designs were excellent and detailed. I had the opportunity to review them and to look at the costs. They worked to budget. My husband & I came across Hugo when were looking to market our property. We had heard about the benefits of using a house doctor so looked for someone in the local area.
From the first meeting with Hugo we were really inspired with his ideas. He & Charlotte were great to work with, they were really hands on, they shopped, designed & painted and had a great group of trades who worked with us to really transform our house into a really beautiful place. With some very simple ideas they managed to introduce elegance to our home and always considered our personal taste. They stuck to the budget we gave them and also hit a very tight deadline.

I would certainly recommend Hugo. I cannot thank him enough for the designs he suggested. The Spacial awareness, colour schemes and clever ideas in creating our living room and hall has drawn admiration from all our visitors.
From the outset, we knew we wanted help from a Designer who would listen to and understand our requirements and not just pursue their own idea of what works. We found Hugo and Cranberryhome from excellent reviews and projects on houzz and our original contact to Hugo was managed very professionally and quickly, giving us great confidence.
The process of design, from initial scoping visit to presentation, was explained thoroughly and Hugo guided us through all available options with genuine care, concern and interest in what we wanted to achieve. When the first design was shared with us, it was obvious Hugo and team had fully interpreted our needs and taken time to fully consider how they could add their experience and ideas to further enhance the overall design. We were thrilled, it was almost 99.9% as we had imagined the room to be (Living Room/Lounge).
From this point forward, design to ordering to project management to the day of works and installation, everything went extremely smoothly and the team were in touch throughout and remained highly responsive to any ideas or changes we had. For example, we wanted to add a foot stool to the plan in the center of the room…no problem at all and in the end, it was so well accommodated into the design that its now a wonderful feature item.
We also utilised the full project management of build and install from Cranberryhome and this was the right choice. Hugo’s team of contractors and the design team were all exceptionally professional and down to earth and nothing was too much trouble. They handled the build phase with a lot of concern for the home and you could tell they were as passionate as we were to see it come together really well.
Special mention to Aura who completed out design and was involved throughout. She was truly excellent and brought together everything we needed from the room in a beautifully well presented package for us to enjoy.
A few months on and the room is 100% what we hoped it would be. We use it far more than we had even hoped and we still feel that touch of luxury and relaxation when we go into the room, the same as we did on day one.

Hugo and his team from Cranberryhome helped me convert the new property we bought from a just place to what we can call our home.
They helped us with design the rooms, fitting out and including the perfume diffusers. The point that stood out for me the patience Hugo and Team shown with the journey. When we started in December 2016, Kamla and I had no clue what we wanted and went on the journey to discover our likes and style. Hugo has stayed with us through the discussion and changing requirements. He is able workaround what we need yet keeping the design still work. The design and fit out of wall decoration and accessories are some highlights.. we cherish and appreciate them every day…

The project involved the refurbishment of the master bedroom (including creation of full ensuite), family bathroom and cloakroom of a 35 year old sadly neglected property.
The eight week work schedule began early January 2017 and we are delighted with the results and keen to work with Hugo and his team again.
Initial introduction to Cranberryhome took place in May 2016, we furnished the design team with our budget in June, proceeding to the final design presentation in September.
Hugo and Natasha carefully identified our requirements despite our particular difficulties with a lack of imagination beyond wanting an upgrade to modern standards, emphasising function over form with ‘robustness’ as the keyword. This is where their design skills and talents came to the fore and conjured up a clear vision of what could be (and was) achieved.
Happy with the final design and costings proposal we instructed Cranberryhome to put the plan into action.
Communication was key to our relationship with Cranberryhome. Our confidence and trust in Hugo developed through the experience of his and his team’s calm deliberation and positive problem solving attitude. At each stage any modifications to the details of the original brief required (e.g. new radiator) were agreed formally following full consultation on the available options. The whole team on site were personable and respectful - important when you’re a family living in the middle of what is effectively a building site.
The vision of the initial project design, assembling and managing a team of thoroughly experienced contractors plus a conscientious attitude to ‘snagging’ are outstanding features of working with Hugo and Cranberryhome. But for us the most impressive outcome is the quality of the ‘finish’ which has to be seen to be fully appreciated. We still smile every time we walk into any of the four new rooms in our home.

We recently moved into our new home and almost straight away we started to decorate the living room/lounge. We wanted a cosy yet semi-formal space with a bit of ‘wow factor’…but after months of shopping around we were finding it difficult to add the finishing touches of warmth and colour. Hugo helped us by bringing us his professionalism and expertise and encouraging us to try something a bit different. I had recently moved from a very small flat to a large 4 bedroom house and found a perfect room to transform into a home office/cinema room.
After spending weeks and weeks exhausting online sites looking for inspiration on design I couldn’t find anything that I thought would give me the ‘wow’ factor for my budget and space.
I contacted Hugo and his team at Cranberryhome for assistance in the room design. They came back with a couple of proposals for the room with very unique and bespoke design touches that made it really stand out and give me exactly what I was looking for.
In addition to this, I decide to use Hugo and his team of tradesmen to undertake the whole project which meant I did not need to worry about sourcing quotes, arranging for them to come in, arranging access etc. This was all managed by Hugo which was a huge help especially due to my busy work schedule. Hugo was present through out the project fit out and his great eye for detail ensured he tweaked and refined the design / fit out to ensure it was the best it could be.
I am extremely happy with the end result and has exceed my expectations over the room. So much so, I have engaged with Hugo and his team to get further rooms done.
Hugo and his team completely remodelled the back of our house from what had been a four room granny annexe and unused back room into a fantastic kitchen (with larder!) and living space.
We could not be happier with our new space and it’s lovely to live in the back of the house, close to the garden.

Cranberry Home are very professional through the whole process. They worked with our needs and gave us the inviting warm, wow factor we needed for our living area and kitchen space. We are very happy with the end project. We highly recommend Hugo and his team and will be using them again.
I asked Cranberryhome to style two rooms - living/dining and bedroom/ensuite - in a modern two bedroom two bathroom flat that I was purchasing. The brief was to style the rooms in a bright, fresh, contemporary way, but with some classic, elegant touches and within a fairly tight budget. Also to ensure that the work could start as soon as Completion took place, in order that I could move in a few days later. In addition, I asked them to install a shower in my second bathroom and tile the room - and they kindly threw in a bit of design styling for me gratis!
After working on the brief, Cranberryhome delivered two mood boards which showed the choice of furniture, colours and designs for both rooms together with budget options so I could choose the more expensive if I wished, eg with the roman blinds. As they are always shopping around for clients, they know where all the best shops are - physically and online - to get furniture, which would have taken me weeks to do if I had not had their help and I am sure it would have cost me more.
I work full-time and am not terribly clued up about colour, design and space. Quite frankly, if I had not used their services, I would have made a lot of mistakes, I would still be sitting in a half empty living space and I daresay it wouldn’t look anything like as fabulous as it does now! If you work full-time and need some help with your rooms, don’t hesitate to call Cranberryhome. As well as their design ability, they are really nice people to deal with, go above and beyond on the customer service front (eg flexible to deliver and meet after working hours) and they have contacts with all the trades so you don’t have to find your own electrician/carpenter/plumber etc. Whilst I have no intention of moving again for some considerable time, I would most certainly engage their help again if I did!
Great design service all round and they charge a fair price for their design work and project management time. Highly recommended.
We initially contacted Cranberry Homes for consultancy and particularly project management. However, they floored us with their design input and we ended up using their services for designing our new home, of which they have now completed the lounge, kitchen dining room, master bedroom and our 18 month daughter’s bedroom.
The output has been fantastic - we absolutely love our new home and it brings us immense joy to live in as a family.
Design input has been top class - Hugo and team took time to understand us and worked with us to explore our tastes and preferences. They have taken onboard feedback well - and challenged us assertively in areas we were not convinced. The colour schemes in our rooms are brilliant and a reflection of our personality. The utilisation of space has been well thought about and furniture pieces selected appear bespoke and suited to the room. I personally love their selection of lighting fixtures - very classy and shows they have researched options very well.
Project Management is where they are so unique and have been a blessing for us. As we were relocating from London to Buckinghamshire, this aspect of their service completely took the stress away from our house move. Based on agreed design and furniture pieces, they managed liaising with suppliers, managing delivery dates, coordinating work streams and trades — everything. Well organised, fantastic communication — and again, no surprise overruns at the last moment.
Their contacts for different trades, whether it is flooring, curtain maker (this deserves a special mention), joiner and handyman — all were of good quality and were usually personally supervised by Hugo.
Fantastic people — they are lovely to deal with. Even after completion, they have been in touch and always respond quickly if we need anything further. I cannot recommend this company enough.
Hugo & Natasha were asked to provide a make over for our living room. After reviewing Natasha’s presentation of the mood boards, both my wife and I had no hesitation in using their services. From day one they kept in regular communication with us and supplied new materials and accessories that were compatible with our existing furniture and within the tight budget we requested. On completion of the make over we now have a living room that far exceeded our expectations. It remains a room we can use daily and still give a WOW factor every time we enter it. We hired Cranberryhome to stage my elderly mother’s rather tired home. Due to my mother going into a care home, her house needed a much needed makeover in order to sell the house as promptly as possible. Cranberryhome fully staged the property inside and out ready for selling and provided high quality images for marketing purposes. After months of wondering how to redecorate the four designated rooms; living room, study, dining room and master bedroom, we decided to seek some design advice. A considerable amount of hours was spent searching for someone who caters for ordinary family homes as opposed to only large estate or grand homes - Cranberry home appeared to a viable option. We arranged an initial consultation with the view to meet Hugo, find out how the project would be approached and if we wanted to continue any further with his input. After an hour and forty five minutes during which we were asked questions such as what kind of living do you do in these rooms we decided to go ahead to the next phase. We contracted Cranberry home to create a mood board for each room, two remits were given - we wanted the dining room to have a garden theme and the study to no longer be only a study but also a living space. Hugo duly appeared with the four mood boards which left us excited and enthused about the design ideas he had created for each room. We decided to go all out and contracted Cranberry home to project manage the designs, the only things we kept in the four rooms were our mattress, the telly and the things that plugged into it, and the computer in the study. Contractors were brought in to give quotes, we had to make some more detailed choices such as sofa colours and which of the suggested curtains etc we wanted. The work was carried out over a 6 week period the end of which resulted in us feeling pleased with and proud of our home. Possibly one of the most significant aspects of the project was that Cranberry home created a living space specifically for us, there were no limits on the ideas as there is no link with or tie to a particular shop or brand so the fabrics, furniture, ornaments etc come for many different sources. We are so pleased we are getting Cranberry home to do our kitchen next. Thanks Hugo :)
Update: Work on the kitchen is now complete. Absolutely delighted with results. The kitchen has become the centre of our home.
Hugo was great to work with. We are a Canadian based company operating in London so having someone locally who we could trust to do a great job was very important to us. Without much help from our end, he was able to beautifully set up a student apartment in London as well as take and edit some great photographs. We are looking forward to working with him in London for all future projects.
Hugo helped the client organize and design their makeover. Hugo came up with some inspirational decoration ideas on the tight budget that was presented. Hugo was always polite and caring.
Hugo at Cranberryhome was very professional and listened carefully to my needs and budget expectations. Clever use of existing furniture and re design has given my open plan living room a much larger and more homely feel. The Master bedroom now feels so cosy with the Sanderson feature wallpaper and fresh bedlinen. I have had so many comments about my downstairs cloakroom from visitors, it looks like a showhouse interior, it really has the wow factor!
